Providing food chain support has been a Jantz Canada specialty throughout its history. Our facility has been open and social distancing since the Covid 19 outbreak hit our area in Southern Ontario. Covid 19 has changed the way we do business but not prevented us from providing the level of service that our customers have come to expect over the past 30 years says Jantz Canada President Robert Peto. Below is a current look at an ongoing installation at Grimmway Farms in Bakersfield California. Where we would typically have a crew of 8 we now have 4 so there is lots of room between people and everyone is doing their part to stay safe while still staying productive. It is imperative that our country’s food producers stay healthy and continue to be able to supply the needs for all people. Providing food chain support during Covid 19 is Jantz Canada’s commitment to help all of our customers to be able to carry on their business as close to normal as possible during these tough times. Coming out of Covid 19 will give producers a new perspective on how their operation is run and how automation could fit into their future. With it’s ability to help a factory social distance automation is now no longer just about increasing efficiency and lowering costs but now it will emerge as a safe guard to ensure that the facility keeps running. And that aspect as society is discovering is priceless.
