Jantz Canada has more than 20 years of experience designing reject conveyor systems for metal detectors and bakery conveyors so Partnering with Markham Imaj for this application was a natural fit. The challenge of designing an effective carton labeling reject conveyor was in the handling of the many different box sizes required at high speed. The system had to be easy to set up and quick to change over from size to size. The reject part of the system had to be able to quickly push any unreadable product from the main conveyor to a gravity conveyor and then retract before the next box arrived. Testing is at the final stages at the Jantz manufacturing facility and installation and commissioning is expected prior to year end.
This project will be another chapter in the Mondelez/Jantz Canada story. Installing our first conveyor more that 25 years ago we have been building the finest bakery and confectionary equipment and food handling machinery for Mondelez ever since. The reject conveyor is an important part of any bakery or confectionary plant removing product for under/over weight conditions or for contamination adding to the overall product safety of the factory. Jantz Canada has been building metal detecting reject conveyors for food processing facilities for many years and as such are a trusted name in the industry. Regardless of application, the engineering team at Jantz Canada will design, build and instal a reject conveyor system that exceeds expectation now and for years to come. Systems can involve air blower reject, mechanical sweep or retracting dump style conveyors. The rejected product can be swept into bins or into a lock box for later inspection of any contaminated product. Contact Jantz Canada now for all of your reject conveyor needs.
